Logan's Download Diary Pt 6

The big day has arrived - Logan get set to hit the Red Bull stage at 3.30pm...

We’ve arrived! The sun is shining and the boys are ready to rock! At least, some of them will be ready... once the hangovers are sorted!

We found our lodgings in Ashby-de-la Zouch approximately three hours behind schedule, and immediately headed for the bar. A long night and much JD, vodka and beer...

When we toured with Alter Bridge, Myles Kennedy famously announced from the stage that Logan had drunk all of central Europe’s vodka stocks. He probably wasn’t exaggerating! What makes it funnier is that Mick is teetotal and Kenny doesn’t drink very often. So that leaves the Brothers Reilly, Iain and I to make up for them. We’re rehydrating before the big moment!

We got through the security cordon without any problems - but were promptly sent to the wrong access point. Back to Gate A. We dropped the gear and Raggy at the Red Bull Stage and headed for the artist area behind the main stage.

We’re heading to the Jagermeister truck next to say hello to our sponsor and see who’s hanging out in the VIP area. This is what Logan live for – they're wound up and ready, and we’re going to rip the stage apart…
